傳播技術對社會整合與民主參與的影響是一個重要的命題。本文通過中國社會狀況綜合調查(CSS)2013年的數據,實證檢驗互聯網使用究竟促進還是抑制了公民參與行為,日常生活中不同類型的互聯網使用方式與公民參與之間的關系,從而進一步分析互聯網對民主政治的影響。研究發現,"互聯網使用對公民參與帶來積極影響"這一基本判斷在中國社會依然成立;我國公民參與行為受到結構性因素的影響;從具體行為來看,網絡信息搜尋行為對線下公民參與有積極影響,網絡信息搜尋行為、網絡社交活動、網絡娛樂消遣行為均對線上公民參與產生積極影響。
