整舊如舊是中國古籍修復的原則。古籍修復整舊如舊原則來源于古籍修復整舊如舊概念和文物修復整舊如舊原則。古籍修復整舊如舊原則是為了維持古籍的實體意義以及體現古籍保護的"盡可能少的干預"原則;其內涵是古籍原件是古籍的現有狀態,修復材料和工藝最適合按照整舊如舊原則修復古籍;其結果是與原件的現有狀態相同或最大程度地近似。實現古籍修復整舊如舊原則,需要相匹配的材料和方法。
"Restoring as the old" is one of the restoration principles for Chinese ancient books. It originates from the concept of restoring ancient books as old as they are and the principle of antiquity reparation,with the aim of maintaining the physical meaning of ancient books and demonstrating the ancient books preservation principle of intervening as little as possible. According to the principle, the original ancient books should be remained as unchanged as possible;materials and processes of restoration employed properly;and the fix results almost the same or as close as possible to the original ones. To achieve this,appropriate materials and methods are in demand.
