寫作是屬于當下的。它以記憶為素材,卻不囿于事實本身,反而經由想象加工,創造出一個只屬于作家本人的世界。由此可見,想象與記憶構成了文學創作中兩個至關重要的因素。隨著年歲增長,作者得以通過書寫記憶,愈發深入地走進自我的內心世界,逐漸挖掘出深藏內心的作品。但基于某種語言文字的文本世界畢竟不同于現實世界。二者雖密不可分,作者卻時刻捕捉著記憶背后個體的、不同于現實的生命體驗,并通過文本將之表達出來。由此,文學創作才得以構建出一個與現實中的此刻并行的、想象中的現在,使之成為作者棲居的完美之所。

Writing belongs to the present. It results from memory,but it isn’t restricted by reality. Instead,it is processed through imagination and builds a world of the author. Therefore,memory and imagination are two key factors of literary creation. Year after year,the author goes deeper,through writing of the early memories,into the internal world,gradually discovering works that are buried deep in heart. But the textual world based on a certain language is,after all,different from the real world. The author catches the personal,reality-free life experiences behind memories,and expresses them through all power that words can provide. As a result,literary creation constructs another form of the present: a parallel,imaginary present which becomes the perfect shelter for the author.
