"多中心"是當前國內外大城市發展的一般特征和趨勢。本研究通過對大量國內外多中心城市相關研究的分析,首先梳理了多中心城市研究的歷史脈絡,從理論推導和空間特征兩個方面,總結提出了多中心城市的概念和內涵;其次,分別從空間形態特征、規模等級特征、功能體系特征、"互動流"特征、區域協同特征和空間演化的階段性特征方面,詳細解析了多中心城市在各表現維度上的特征;最后,提出了對于我國大城市空間發展的啟示與借鑒,并針對當前大城市空間結構引導實踐中的困惑,提出未來的研究展望。本研究旨在為新型城鎮化過程中我國大城市空間可持續發展和科學引導提供基礎依據。

"Polycentricity" is a common characteristic and development trend of big cities’ spatial evolution.This paper analyzes the researches related to "polycentricity." Firstly,it summarizes the historical context of polycentricity research,and puts forward the concept and connotation of polycentricity in terms of theoretical derivation and spatial features.Secondly,this paper analyzes the features of polycentricity from the perspectives of spatial form,scale rank,functional system, "interaction flow," regional coordination,and spatial evolution process.Finally,it presents the enlightenments for the spatial development of Chinese cities,and proposes future research prospects based on the difficulties in the guidance practice of urban spatial structure.This research,by providing theoretical basis,aims at promoting the sustainable development and scientific guidance for urban spatial structure in the process of new urbanization.
