【目的/意義】探究美國情報學研究發展動向的特征與趨勢,可以為我國科研人員的選題以及情報學學科發展建設提供有益參考。【方法/過程】選取Web of Science數據庫收錄中JCR報告影響因子位居前列的9種美國情報學期刊近15年所刊載文獻作為研究對象,借助詞頻變化率模型以及共現網絡分析法、多維尺度分析法分別從研究熱點、研究主題、研究范式等三個方面對美國情報學研究發展動向進行探究與分析。【結果/結論】研究發現美國情報學研究內容具有較強的延續性,且多學科、跨領域的結構特征明顯,特別是與醫學結合研究較為頻繁。研究重點由信息化向知識化轉移的趨勢都較為顯著,更加注重社會價值,融入了以"滿足用戶需求"為服務宗旨的理念。但是在情報學理論性框架方面的研究成果相對偏少,且跨學科研究程度地增強帶來了研究主體泛化程度地加劇。
【Purpose/significance】To explore the characteristics and trends of the development of information science re-search in the United States can provide useful reference for the subject selection of Chinese researchers and the develop-ment and construction of information science.【Method/process】The literatures of 9 kinds of American information jour-nals with the highest impact factor of JCR report in the Web of Science database in the last fifteen years were chosen as theresearch objects. With the aid of the word frequency change rate model,the co-occurrence network analysis method and themultidimensional scaling method are used to explore and analyze the development trend of American information sciencefrom three aspects: research hot spot, research theme and research paradigm.【Results/conclusion】The findings of thestudy show that it is obvious that the content of American information science research has a strong continuity, multidisci-plinary, and cross-sectoral structural characteristics, especially the frequent combination with the medical research. Thetrend that research focus has transferred from the information to the knowledge is more significant, more emphasis on socialvalues, as well as "meet user needs" for the purpose of serving the idea. However, the research results in the theoreticalframework of information science are relatively insufficient, and the intensification of cross-domain research brings the gen-eralization of research subjects intensified.
