人文計算(Humanities Computing)與數字人文(Digital Humanities)常被認為肇始于羅伯特·布薩(Roberto Busa S. J.),但"人文計算"與"數字人文"并不完全相同。文章通過梳理人文計算的定義,考察人文計算與數字人文各自的研究方法與研究對象,在此基礎上,構建人文計算與數字人文的關系,追溯人文計算向數字人文轉變的歷史過程。

Because both digital humanities and humanities computing are concepts derived from the research work of Father Roberto Busa S.J., these two terms always come together with each other. But, there are a lot of differences between them. By firstly exploring the definitions, then the respective methodologies and research objects of digital humanities and humanities computing,this article aims at building connections between these two scholarly activities. It also traces the transformation from humanities computing to digital humanities.
