[目的/意義]探討引用和使用之間的內在關系乃至行為特點,以考察使用作為評價指標的可用性和合理性。[方法/過程]收集WoS平臺中兩領域論文的使用和引用數據,比較使用量與被引量內在的同一性和差異性以檢驗使用指標的可用性,探討使用量與被引量的相關性以檢驗使用指標的合理性。[結果/結論]被引量和使用量在絕對值和累計值分布上具有內在的同一性和差異性,使用量累計次數符合布拉德福定律分布規律;使用和引用具有一定程度的統計正相關性,且這種相關性與論文的出版時間緊密相關。引用和使用均可作為文獻價值的表征而被納入到評價指標體系。[局限]WoS平臺的使用數據(Usage)含義上具有籠統性,其與WoS引文數據比較可偽性較強。 

[Purpose/signficance] This paper investigates the intrinsic relationship and behavioral characteristics between citation and use,in order to examine the usability and rationality of use as an indicator of evaluation.[Method/process] The paper collects the use and citation data of the two fields in the WoS platform,compares the internal identity and difference between usage and citation to test the usability of the usage index,and explores the correlation between usage and citation to test the reasonable usage index.[Result/conclusion] There are internal identity and difference in absolute value and accumulative value distribution of cited quantity and usage amount.There is a certain degree of statistical positive correlation between usage and citation,and this correlation is closely related to the publication time of the paper.Both citation and usage can be included into the evaluation index system as the characterization of literature value.[Limitations] The usage data of WoS platform has a general meaning,and it has a strong falsity compared with WoS citation data.
