本文首先從西方概念史的角度介紹了古希臘詞hermeneutike(德文Hermeneutik,詮釋學)與Interpretation(解釋)的同義關系,進而又從Interpretation(解釋)在西方近代時期所發展出來的兩種涵義,即Erkl?rung(說明)和Auslegung(闡釋)中簡潔地指出了近代詮釋學與當代詮釋學的本質差異,從而詳盡辨析了Auslegung(闡釋)這一狄爾泰、海德格爾與伽達默爾關于Hermeneutik(詮釋學)的最關鍵概念是當代哲學詮釋學的本質和功能意義。

This paper introduces the synonymous relationship between Hermeneutik and interpretation from the perspective of the history of Western concepts. The essential differences between classical hermeneutics and contemporary hermeneutics are briefly pointed out with reference to the two meanings of interpretation in Western modernism,namely,Erklrung( explanation) and Auslegung( explication). Taken by Dilthey,Heidegger and Gadamer as the key concept of philosophical Hermeneutik,Auslegung further serves to reveal the essence and functional meaning of contemporary philosophical hermeneutics.
