眾所周知,中國主導文化是漢文化,然而其他民族的文化也是不能缺失的重要組成部分。在我國國際化交流過程中,少數民族文化扮演著非常重要的角色。作為少數民族文化的傳承的載體,少數民族典籍的正確翻譯是世界了解我國少數民族文化的基礎,也關系到我國少數民族文化在國際上的有效傳播。然而,少數民族典籍翻譯不同于一般的典籍翻譯,不僅僅涉及詞語的英譯,更重要的是要在跨文化的背景下保持典籍中所蘊含的少數民族文化。因此,研究少數民族典籍翻譯問題非常重要。闡述了研究少數民族典籍翻譯的作用,探討了當前少數民族典籍翻譯工作存在問題,從政府和譯者兩個角度提出了提升我國少數民族典籍翻譯工作質量的策略。

It is known to all that the Han culture is the dominant culture in China. However other people’s culture is also an important part of Chinese culture. The minority culture plays a very important role in the process of internationalization of our country.As the carrier of minority culture, the correct translation of minority classics is the foundation for the world to understand the culture of our country,and it is also related to the effective dissemination of the Chinese minority culture in the world. However, the translation of minority classics is different from the traditional translation,which involves not only the translation of words,but also the minority culture in the context of cross culture.Therefore,it is very important to study the translation of minority classics under the cross cultural background. This paper explains the role of the minority classics’ translation,analyzes the existing problems of minority classics’ translation in the current situation,and puts forward the strategies for improving the quality of the translation of the minority classics from the perspectives of government and translators.
