Since 2016,IP is widely watched,and becomes a hot pursuit of business and capital,ethnic tourism area is no exception. In this paper,through the comparison and analysis of the concept between IP and tourism IP,summarizes the characteristics and composition of tourism IP, studies the uniqueness of tourism IP in ethnic areas. In this base,respectively studies the recognition of the tourism IP from investors,resources and tourists. Finally,concludes the pattern of tourism IP development in ethnic areas.
