In order to create a curriculum map that can better meet students’ study needs, the authors explore the transformation and implementation path of university library curriculum map by data-driven approach.Firstly, the logical relationship among multi-dimensional data and the key factors of curriculum map are established.By applying database techniques, library and publication statistics, questionnaire and other methods, data are duly collected.Data are then analyzed by statistical methods, word frequency tools, comparison analysis method and learning eagerness equation. The results show that the proposed new curriculum map is clear, practical, expansible, easy to understand and promote. The data-driven approach provides new perspectives and methods to create curriculum maps rather than using experience as the basis and building on static standards. The authors consider that this new approach can improve the decision-making of curriculum design, expand the breadth and depth of library curriculum, and better promote staff relations and social development.
