費孝通先生"中華民族的多元一體格局"理論是認識中華民族及其文化特點的有力工具,但"多元一體格局"的概括在直觀上略偏於靜態的結構性描述。可用"中華民族的多元化一模式"來進一步概括和闡釋中華民族的歷史演化規律,即由分散的多元族類群體通過自然演進、螺旋上升而不斷走向統一族類共同體的演化模式。從歷史參與主體的廣泛而多元,演化方向始終走向統一,演化速度的自然漸進,演化節奏的周期螺旋上升等方面,可對這種演化模式的宏觀特點進行觀察和歸納,進一步了解深具其中的中國歷史文化內涵和人文價值,為全球化時代認識和處理不同人類社會群體之間的關係提供參考。

Mr. Fei Xiaotong’s theory of "the pattern of diversity in unity of the Chinese nation" is very helpful for the understanding of the Chinese nation and its social and cultural characteristics, while the pattern of diversity in unity is more like a static structural description. The writer suggests that "the pattern of diversified integration of the Chinese nation" be used to summarize and interpret the historical evolution law of the Chinese nation, that is, the gradual evolution of multiple ethnic groups from scattered groups into ethnic communities through natural evolution in a spiral escalation. This paper observes and summarizes the macro characteristics of the evolution pattern in terms of subject, direction, speed and cycle and holds that this pattern is of humanistic value in embodying Chinese historical connotations and can also provide reference for understanding and dealing with the relation among groups in different human societies in the time of globalization.
