本文以不同時期的西雙版納傣族糯稻種植為研究對象, 以探討其變遷軌跡和原因為主旨, 其目的在於說明, 在特定的語境下, 即使邊疆地區, 國家政策對民族社會文化的發展方向起著重要乃至決定性的作用。糯稻種植的式微, 不僅使西雙版納傣族社會文化日益碎片化, 也使其歷史發展軌跡發生極大改變, 由此而逐漸走向"現代性"。本文希望通過"物"的視角, 在述及"糯"的社會生命史之同時, 探討傳統與現代、民族與國家、邊疆與中心的關係。

Taking the historical period of glutinous rice cultivation of the Dai people in Xishuangbanna as the research object, the purport of this paper is to discuss the track and reason of its change so as to address that national policy, even in the frontier areas, plays an important and even decisive role in the direction of national socio-cultural development in the specific context. The decline of glutinous rice planting not only leads to an increasingly fragile society and culture of the Dai people in Xishuangbanna, but also results in great changes of its historical development, furthermore it has gradually moved towards the "modernity". From the perspective of " object", this article wants to analyze the history of social life about sticky rice(Nuo 糯), and explore the relationship between tradition and modern, nation and state, frontier and center.
