本文追溯了口述歷史的認識論在20世紀的兩次轉向,即在衡量口述歷史價值和意義時,從以史料內容的真實性為中心的客觀性迷思,到以史料生產過程為中心的敘事轉向,再至以口述者自我呈現及口述訪談關系性為中心的表演轉向。同時,本文勾勒了1980年代開始廣泛使用的數字視聽影像技術對于表演轉向的意義。本文認為,影像化的口述證言是視聽影像與口述歷史結合后產生的一種重要的歷史表達形態
