Wang Xiaoping (1919-2003) is an unknown Chinese-Malaya writer in Sinophone literature circles. He loves literature and also participates in revolution. Therefore, he went to China during the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1940. This dissertation aims to construct Wang’s image and life through his novels. By using geography, humanities, and psychoanalysis theories to determine how Wang’s life’s route changed in every social movement. Wang Anyi, Wang’s daughter who claims him has a particular personality—feeling out of place; it can be said, despite Wang settled in China, identity is a massive problem he faces, even though he tried to integrate the local activities. However, he was always seen as “Others” regardless in Singapore or China. It obtains Wang is an eternity stranger between two countries.
