本研究報告以美國心理學會於1994年公布的第4版出版手冊（Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association）和1999年9月公布的電子參考書目格式（Electronic Reference Formats Recommended by the American Psychological Association）為主，並參酌國內中文出版的習慣，訂出中式橫寫的科學性學術研究報告和博碩士論文出版格式，其目的不在幫助學者投稿國外期刊雜誌（如果想要的話，建議還是閱讀原出版手冊，用手稿格式來寫比較妥當），主要的目的是：希望對學者投稿國內期刊雜誌和研究生撰寫研究報告及博碩士論文的格式能提供一些幫助。 中式橫寫的實徵性研究中，因為用到英文的參考書目、專有名詞、數學公式、統計方法和科學符號……等等，在本文中都儘量保持原APA的規定。其他的地方都是以APA格式為主，我國出版的習慣為輔，列出了研究報告和博碩士論文出版的相關規定，包括研究報告的結構、博碩士論文的結構、附註的格式、參考書目的要素、參考書目的格式、參考書目的範例，供國內學者和研究生參考。

　　　　　In accordance with the 4th format of Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association Electronic Reference Formats Recommended by the American Psychological Association and the most common-used formats of Chinese publication, the study provides publication formats for scientific research reports and academic theses that are written in Chinese-horizontal style. The major purpose of this study is not to assist Taiwan researchers to publicize their research papers in foreign-based journals or magazines, but to provide assistance to Taiwan researchers and graduate students when editing research papers and theses. APA formats such as bibliography, terminology, mathematic formulation, statistical method, and scientific sign are maintained and recommended in this study. Besides, to consider the Chinese written style, Chinese publication rules and regulations are recommended when necessary. Combining original APA formats and Chinese written style, we provide the regulations for writing research papers and theses that include the structures of research papers and theses, the editing formats of research papers and theses, the formats of notes, and the elements, formats, and exampels of bibliography to Taiwan researchers and graduate students.
