本研究之目的旨在瞭解幼兒園所安全教育內容之實施現況，研究樣本為台中市立案之幼稚園及托兒所之園所長以及教保人員。研究結果發現大多數的幼兒園所並未設置安全教育委員會來負責推行幼兒安全工作，其最主要原因是這些幼兒園所未曾聽過或曾聽過此名詞但卻不瞭解其內容。親職座談會中較常辦理的安全教育內容為人身安全。在教保人員方面發現，教保人員曾教授之安全教育內容較偏向常規訓練，然而在七項安全教育之知識中，較少教授的原因是學校的課程並未規劃。在進修方面教保人員曾進修較多之內容為室內外安全、交通安全及人身安全，而需再加強之內容為危險物品、人身安全、飲食安全及地震安全。教保人員教授之安全教育內容與教保人員的專業性僅在年資方面達顯著差異，而教授之安全教育內容與幼兒園類型、教學型態及教材來源的關連性不大。

　　　　　This study aims mainly to understand the practice of safety education in early childhood educational institutions and teaching facilities. Random samples include the directors and teaching faculties of early childhood education institutions authorized by Taichung City Government. Results showed that most of the institutions do not have an organized Safety Education Committee charged with children’s safety. Personnel in institutions have either never heard of the term, or having heard of it, do not understand its real meaning. The most common safety education topic discussed in parenting workshops concerns the human body, and the faculties chiefly focus on routine training. The seven items covered in safety education little instructed because they usually are not included in the institutions’ curricula . Further education has primarily addressed indoor and outdoor safety, traffic safety and human body safety, indicating that subjects such as dangerous articles, human body safety, diet safety and earthquake safety require further concentration. Data analysis revealed that the subjects instructed by faculties only significant impacts working experience in the teaching profession. The subjects taught only slightly relate to the type of the institution, the teaching model or the source of teaching materials.
