楊萬里是宋朝人，他所撰著的《誠齋易傳》，主要是引用許多歷史人物與歷史事件，去印證《易經》中的道理，俾使人們說讀之後，可以獲取許生活方面的教訓。本文之作，即在分析《誠齋易傳》之中，引用史事，與《易經》相互印證之方法與重點，並從而彰明《誠齋易傳》一書的價值。

A scholar in Sung Dynasty, Yang Wan-Li identified the principles of The Book of Change with some important historical events in his book, Cheng Zhai’s Commentary of the book of Change. He expected the readers could grasp the gist of The Book of Change and keep them in mind as directions in life. Some examples were taken out from Yang’s book as evidences of his characteristics in explaining The Book of Change. Its position in the history of the studies of The book of Change was also evaluated.
