This article presents some of the important methodological principles and explicates the meaning and rhythms of the Spirit in its self-developing movement. The first section shows that “the concrete dialectical thinking” and “self-development of organic totality” are the main features of Hegel's philosophy. In the second section, the writer would argue that the Spirit reveals itself in the dialectical movement. It departs from the original unity and then returns to itself and forms a higher unity containing differences and oppositions. The Spirit displays its eternal activity of self-realization towards its internal telos.
