本研究主要在於透過對臺灣大學電機資訊學院及文學院研究生的問卷調查分析，探討電子期刊的皮用現況、使用者對電子期刊的看法、使用者對圖書館發展電子期刊館藏的看法，並分析不同學科背景之使用者對電子期刊的使用及看法差異性。研究結果顯示：在使用情況方面，電子期刊的使用率高，受試者中僅7.9％未曾使用過。閱讀及引用電子期刊的比例皆相當高。在對電子期刊的看法方面，使用者對電子期刊評價高，但不認為會完全取代紙本期刊。在使用對圖書館發展電子期刊館藏看法方面，使用者認為圖書館應積極收藏電子期刊，但以紙本及電子形式兩者並存方式。不同學科背景使用者對於電子期刊的使用及看法具明顯差異。

　　　　　This study accesses current level of use of electronic journals, attitudes towards these publication, and user's attitudes toward library's collection development policy of electronic journals by graduate students in college of electrical Engineering and computer Science and college of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University. The different between these two college users are also examined. The results suggest that, the level of usage is high, the percentage of students no using electronic journals it only 7.9%. The percentages of reading and citing this medium are very high. Although most users appreciate this new medium, users don't think electronic journals will replace print journals. This parallel collection development in library should be exit. The usage level and attitudes between these two college students are different apparently.
