Women’s menstrual period is around 30 days since their menophania. According to the analysis, weight and body fat affect the menstrual period. It is common that judo players lose weight prior to the contests. What we are going to discuss in this study is whether quick weight loss like this will affect the menstrual period of women judo players. The method of this article is document analysis. To begin with, the theses on women athletes’ menstrual period of both local and foreign scholars were collected. Then, based on these research documents, the effect of weight loss on women judo players is analyzed and commented with the following main conclusion: 1.Women judo players have to lose weight rapidly in order to meet the competition level, will not cause the delay of the coming of menophania of the athletes. 2.the strenuous physical training will nto lead to high percentage of irregularity of menstruation on women judo players. 3.The short-term weight loss on women judo players is the loss of body fluid (tissue fluid), instead of body fat. Therefore, it should not be the reason for the irregular menstruation of women judo athletes.
