十九世紀末二十世紀初的西班牙作曲家葛拉納多斯(Enrique Granados, 1867-1916)是西班牙「鋼琴音樂黃金時期」(The golden age of Spanish piano music)的作曲家。此世紀交替的時期，世界整體的藝術活動皆蓬勃發展，西班牙也在繪畫、建築、音樂上有極高的成就。葛拉納多斯的鋼琴音樂有國民樂派的風格，由西班牙本土文化中尋求素材，然而更融合深厚的浪漫主義。其作品技法常見蕭邦式的裝飾性旋律、曲體、豐富的和聲、與浪漫的詩意；舒曼式的多聲部織體與連篇鋼琴曲集；李斯特式無小節線的咏歎調樂段、自主的速度、炫技的鋼琴技巧、與其他藝術的結合等。葛氏以浪漫樂派的技法並受華格納影響，創作出具戲劇性張力的鋼琴作品，融入西班牙素材，成就自成一格帶浪漫主義色彩的作品。 　　本研究由葛拉納多斯的藝術環境背景，與西班牙鋼琴音樂傳承談起，並進一步以實例深究蕭邦、舒曼、李斯特作曲技法對葛拉納多斯的影響，以研究葛拉納多斯的浪漫樂派技法與特色。

Enrique Granados, born in the late 19th century and early 20th century, is one of the most renowned composers during the Spanish Golden age. During this change in century, artistic works were thriving throughput Europe. It is also during that time, the Spanish art, architecture, and music flourished to its peak. Granados sought inspiration from Spanish traditional culture and composed them into pieces with nationalistic and Romantic style. Even though Granados lived in Southern part of Europe, he was , however, greatly influenced by composers as Chopin, Schumann and Liszt. In Granados’ pieces, one can see hints of their influence: 1. Chopins’ ornamental melody, the titles of character pieces, the tonal ambiguity, and lyrical poeticism. 2. Schumann’s dense texture of piano writing and the cyclic pieces. 3. Liszt’s free rhythmic construction of the cadenza-like passages, virtuoso tendencies, the expression to the extra musical subject matters and dramatic effects. The study of this paper begins with a sketch of Granado’s artistic background and a short history of Spanish piano music. It will also discuss and give musical examples to illustrate how Schumann, Chopin and Liszt affected Granados with the purpose of understanding how Romanticism influenced Granados’ music.
