Owing to the differences in physical structure and traditional positions in occupation between male and female, sexual harassment made by male to female happens a lot. The situation also occurs in army. In England, an investigation of 2003 made by army found that there were 22% female solider had made complaints about suffering sexual harassment made by other male solider. In America, an investigation report reveals that 73.3% of female solider has suffered different types of sexual harassment from their superiors in office or colleagues. In our country, female military officer and solider increases recently because of the policy for recruiting female military officer and solider. National Defense Bureau has been starting to enact different regulations for handling “gender affair” in 1990. And Our government has enacted and passed “Gender Equality in Employment Law and Regulation”、 “Gender Equality in Education Law” and “Sexual Harassment Preventive Law” individually in 2002, 2004, and 2005. The article reviews the regulations enacted by National Defense Bureau, and makes recommendation about the measures of the military organizations for preventing sexual harassment. Hoping that there is a real equality in in gender in army.
