China and Southeast Asia countries have joined the international OEM market since 1990. To Taiwanese SMEs, it is a significant role change in international supply chain. During new economy era, taking challenges will be the key factor to SME’s future development. In order to create a new SME picture, holding critical resources for innovation is the only way to success in highly competitive environment. From this prospective, the aim of this paper is to explore six SME new business models prevailing in Taiwan by applying Bilderbeek’s structure. Finally, SME’s new strategies and policy recommendation is proposed.
