題名:運動對腦神經幹細胞、學習與記憶與老人癡呆症之影響

近年來的老鼠實驗研究結果顯示,運動具有促進腦神經幹細胞生成,並形成腦神經整體結構的一部分,會進一步增進老鼠空間學習與記憶功能。然而,運動促進老鼠腦神經幹細胞生成的現象,有年齡上的差異,年長老鼠腦神經細胞新生情形,不管是運動前或運動後,都顯著的比年輕者低很多。此外,規律運動對於人類因老化造成認知功能損傷及老年癡呆等疾病,具有預防效果,目前流行病學的研究結果也支持這個現象。這些運動對腦神經結構與功能之影響,可能是運動促進腦部衍生神經營養因子(brain-derived neurotophic factor, BDNF)之分泌,增進腦部神經幹細胞的增殖、分化、成熟與存活,同時運動也增加腦部類胰島素生長因子-1(insulin-like growth factor-1, IGF-1)、血管內皮細胞生長因子(vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF)等之濃度,因而增加腦部血管之生成,提供新生腦神經細胞之營養供應,進一步促成了腦神經細胞間結構長期電位(long-term potentiation, LTP)之形成,因而增進腦部空間學習與記憶功能等之表現,然而目前爲止,運動對腦神經結構與功能之影響與機制,尚待進一步探究。
