我國已進入高齡化社會,老年人口比例也逐年升高,根據內政部資料統計,至104 年底老年人口達12.51%;老化會使高齡者逐漸喪失平衡能力,導致跌倒的機率大幅上升,將會造成龐大的醫療支出;因此,預防老人跌倒是相當重要的課題。美國運動醫學會已證實,從事規律運動訓練後,不僅能改善心理健康、睡眠品質及降低跌倒風險,並提升老年人身體功能和生活品質。綜合本文所蒐集的研究發現,空手道運動能顯著提升動、靜態平衡能力,並增加老年人的幸福感,提升生活品質。透過空手道運動多元化的教學,包括上肢、下肢及綜合動作,配合動態(前、後、左、右移動)與靜態(站立、坐姿),使老年人達到運動效果與平衡訓練,進而降低跌倒的發生;不僅能增強下肢肌力、降低心血管疾病,更能提升全人健康,促進規律運動習慣,增加老年生活的福祉。
Taiwan has entered the aging society, the proportion of the elderly population has increased year by year. According to the Ministry of the Interior statistics, at the end of 2015, the elderly population had increased to 12.51% of all. Due to aging, elderly people will gradually lose balance, leading to a significant increase in the probability of falls, will result in huge medical expenses. Therefore, prevention of falls among the elderly people is an significant issue. American College of Sports Medicine has proved that, after engaging in regular exercise training, not only can improve mental health, sleep quality and reduce the risk of falls and improve physical function and quality of life of elderly people. After the research we found that karate exercise can significantly enhance the dynamic and static balance, and increase the happiness of the elderly people, even improve quality of their life .Through a diversified karate movements teaching, including arms, legs and integrated action, and practicing with dynamic ( front, rear, left and right movement ) and static ( standing, sitting ) action , let elderly people achieve the intensity of exercise and balance training , thereby reducing falls occur; Not only enhance lower limb muscle strength, but also reduce the chances of suffering from cardiovascular disease, still even enhance wellness and promote regular exercise habits, finally increasing the well-being of elderly people's life.
