本文先將解析轉型正義這個概念，解析它的三個面向、並說明補救的責任。接著嘗試瞭解歷史記憶與歷史上的不公不義，再來說明道歉與轉型正義沒有時空的限制，然後從修復正義的角度來考察跨世代責任、以及前殖民者的跨國界責任。在結論之前，我們將回到台灣原住民族轉型正義的考察。

We shall start with the delineation of the concept of transitional justice, with a special focus on its three dimensions, distributive, retributive justice, and restorative ones, along with diverse sources of accountability for remedies. We then make efforts to understand the notions of historic memory and historical responsibility. It is argued that there is no limitation for transitional justice in terms of time and space by examining trans-generational responsibility and that of former colonists. Before come to the conclusion, we shall look into what have been made to solve historical injustices of the Indigenous Peoples in Taiwan.
