Purpose: This study is aimed to discover the facts which affected Chun Hsin Tseng's performances in three different Grand Slam tournaments in 2018. Methods: This case study is focussed on Chun Hsin Tseng and his seventeen opponents, including eighteen matches, thirty-nine sets and nine variables. The analysis and statistics are based on a programming language software based on Grey Relational Analysis. Results: The top three correlated technical factors at the Australian Open are listed below in sequence: Rating of winning first serves, service returns and rating of winning second serves. The lowest rated factor is unforced errors. The top three correlated technical factors in the French Open are service returns, first serve winners and first serves in, the lowest rate is for the ACE. The top three correlated technical factors in Wimbledon are first serves in, first serve winners and service return winners, the lowest rate is for the ACE. Conclusion: The results indicate that Chun Hsin Tseng's first serve is the key factor to win on grass or hard courts. However, the performance of service returns can be the key factor to win on clay courts where the ball travels slower. Moreover, the least effective factor for overall games is the rate of ACE. In conclusion, the coach should strengthen the player's ability to follow up the serve and priorities the return of serve as an important part of the training program.
