     本研究為實驗室研究,係針對偶發性的對稱性抬舉作業採用心物法來決定各種不 同抬舉頻率與抬舉範圍的最大可承受抬舉重量 (MAWL) 和主觀知覺施力評量 (RPE)。 共有 29 位男性大專學生參與實驗, 每位受試者必須執行 12 種不同的作業,包括六種抬舉範圍 (F-K,F-S,F-R,K-S,K-R,S-R) 和二種抬舉頻率 (一次最大和五分鐘一次 )。 結果發現:(1) 各種不同抬舉範圍和頻率對於受試者所決定的 MAWL 和 RPE 有顯著的效應 :(2) 國人男性 受試者的體格和抬舉能力顯著低於歐美男性受試者;(3) 由於國人的體型較小,所以相對於 從地面到指節高的抬舉能力 (F-K) , 其他各種抬舉範圍的抬舉能力其下降百分比高達 19-49% 左右,遺比西方民族 12-29% 的為高。相信本研究在 MMH 作業之設計及人員甄選, 以及下背的防患上定有所助益。
     A laboratory experiment of the effect of lifting range on infrequent lifting capacity was conducted in this study. Using the method of psychophysical approach, the maximum acceptable weight of lift (MAWL) and the rating of perceived exertion (RPE) were determined. A total of 29 male college students were included as subjects to perform 12 different lifting tasks involving six lifting ranges (F-K,F-S,F-R,K-S,K-R,S-R) and two lifting frequencies (one-time maximum and one lift per 5 minutes). The results showed that: (1) the MAWL and RPE ratings were significantly affected by both the lifting range and frequencies, (2) the capacities of the Chinese population was lower than those of the Occidental population, and (3) the rate of decrement in MAWL for the Chinese population (19∼46%) was much sharper than those of Occidental population (12∼29%). These findings should be useful to the design of MMH activities, employees selection, and prevention of low-back injuries.
