This paper investigates the trade area of convenience store(CVS). A real CVS in Kaohsiung is adopted as empirical survey target. Some information can be found through survey, including the trade area scope, the type of near- by stores, the volume of traffic, and the amount of customers visiting daily. The merchandise items and shopping time segments of different types of customers are also be analyzed by statistical analysis. These information can provide some suggestions for adjusting merchandise structure in this CVS.
