　　　　　本文的主要目的在於探討科學哲學家Lakatos對於當代經濟學方法論的影響。我們從「什麼是科學的經濟學知識？」後一個問題出發，介紹科學方法論從古典經驗主義到科學研究綱領方法論(MSRP)的演進，並進而運用MSRP的評價標準，分別對消費者行為理論、凱因斯革命、以及neo-Walrasian一般均衡理論進行評價。我們發現，雖然MSRP的理性原則符合主流經濟學家的自我形象，但是它卻無法解釋經濟學中一些主要研究策略的成功，而現代經濟學中的形式主義趨勢可能是造成這個現象的最主要原因。

　　　　　This paper investigates the influence of Lakatos' philosophy of science on economic methodology. We explore the contents of verificationism, dogmatic falsificationism, naive falsificationism, sophisticated falsificationism, and MSRP. Using MSRP's criterion of appraisal, we examine several important research programs in economics, including consumer theory, the Keynesian revolution, and neo-Walrasian general equilibrium theory. We find that MSRP is consistent with mainstream economists' self-image, but it cannot explain the success of some major research gambit in economics. The trend toward formalism in modern economics could be the most important cause of this phenomenon.
