　　　　　本研究以國語與閩南語為母語的巴金森症病患對象，探討一個與腦部區域無關的腦病變對患者語言現象引起的損害及所可能代表的神經語言意義。研究的語音現象包括VOT 與聲調的受損。神經語言方面的意義主要是試圖以本研究的結果，探索漢語在神經語言學方面的特性，以及理論研究上所以可提供的新方向。

　　　　　The present study takes speakers of two different Chinese dialects (Mandarin and Taiwanese) with Parkinson's disease as subjects in exploring some possible neurolinguistic implications of language impairment. Because Parkinson's disease is related to neuro-pathways rather than any particular area of the brain, research along these lines can provide at least indirect evidence in support of the connectionist view of language. We investigated VOT and tone impairment in both Mandarin and Taiwanese, and hope that our work will help provide new directions for future research in Chinese neurolinguistics.
