The allegory of Chaos is one of the famous paragraphs in the writings of Chuang-Tzu. Chaos, the Ruler of the Center, died immediately after Rulers Shu (Heedless) and Hu (Sudden) dug seven orifices in him in return chaos' kindness to let him see, hear, eat and breathe. This article is an attempt to investigate this allegory, and discusses that the meaning of the first condition of things and the inner freedom of Chuang-Tzu transcends the limitations of death and life. And, therefore, we can say Chaos' transcendent spirit asserts its subjectivity.
