     概念圖係為表徵概念與概念之間連結關係之視覺圖表,其已被廣泛的應用於教育上。研究指出,概念圖是發掘學生先備知識、表徵心智模式、以及顯示知識結構之有效工具。此外,概念圖能增進學生解決問題的能力、協助資優學生整合新訊息於既存的基礎、具有正面的學習效果、以及係為評量學習的形式。本文主要目的在於探討概念圖之相關研究及其理論基礎;另外,概念圖之建立步驟、九年一貫課程上之範例等亦臚列於本文中。
     Concept maps are visual graphs, consisting of nodes and links, which represent relationships between concepts. Concept maps have been used extensively in education. Studies have shown that concept maps are useful tools to discover students' knowledge, how their knowledge is structured, and to represent their mental models of a concepts. Further, concept maps can improve students' ability to solve problems; aid gifted students in incorporating new information into their existing schema; have positive effects on students learning, and are used at some institutions as forms of assessment of learning. The purposes of this paper are to explore the theoretical foundations of concept maps and review related literature on applications in education. The steps of creating a concepts map and examples in Taiwan's new curriculum are provided.
