The vision of "intertextuality of Taoism and Confucianism" was a very important hermenutic dimension of "Lao-ze" in the Song Dynasty. Wang-pang elaborated Lao-ze’s mentalism in his "Annotation of Lao-ze". In this paper, I'd like to focus on the cannotation of the mentalism in Wang's book. We can say that the advocacy of "satisfy one's mind" and "unfold one's mind" was Wang's final destination. After various kinds of metafictional self-examinations, we can find a very special phenomenon: the hardcore thinking has already transfered to the construction of mentalism from metaphysical meanings. Wang quoted Confucian classics and revealed a specific image: ‘intertextuality of Taoism and Confucianism'. Therefore, in the vision of "quote Confucianism into Lao-ze', Wang's "Annotation of Lao-ze" should be a main representative in the Song Dynasty.
