From ancient times to the present, we have become accustomed to using the word "Chang-Shu" to mean the reservation and location of books. After the Sung dynasty, the word "Shu-Chang" came into use. As time passed and customs evolved, "Chang-Shu" and "Shu-Chang" came to have different meanings between recognizing vocabulary and application by definition. Meanwhile, while the Chinese name of "Shu-Chang (Zang)", "Fo-Zang (a collection of Buddhist sutras)", "Dao-Zang( a collection of Taoist sutras)", "Ru-Zang (a collection of Confucian sutras)" are very similar, there is a correlation between the relationships of mutual derivation and influence. These are necessary for libraries as well as and searchers. In order to know the "Chang-Shu" and "Shu-Chang" clearly, this paper will discuss the meaning and usage of both terms.
