Tou Hu, derived from the archery, is a game in which a person throws arrows into the pot. For this reason, Tou Hu is a game which emphasizes the importance of courtesies in Chou Dynasty. However, in period of, Tou Hu bring some changes in its courtesies and methods. Why and how it changes? That's what, the author is motivated to make a detailed examination into the issue. Due to the motivation, this research is focused on exploring the reason of Tou Hu's development in the Han – SuiTangWudai Dynasty( BC 206- AD 960) , analyzing the contents of Tou Hu, understanding the expansion of Tou Hu in foreign country. This study adopts historical documentation, ranging from the Han Dynasty to SuiTangWudai( BC 206- AD 960) . The conclusions can be drawn as the following:
1.The win-games prevailing in the Han Dynasty, the fashion of scholars in the WeiJinNanBei Dynasty, and the high civilization in the SuiTangWudai Dynasty, help materialize the game of Tou Hu to expand.
2.Tou Hu rid itself of the courtesies and became more performing and entertaining in Han - Sanguo Dynasty.
3.Tou Hu had even more new patterns and skillful tricks in the WeiJinNanBei Dynasty.
4.Yangguang( 605-616)( an emperor in Sui Dynasty) developed the music of Tou Hu " that turned into a palace dance at that time.
5.The expansion of Tou Hu in foreign country is related to the fact that Japan and Korea learn from ancient China Confucianism in the SuiTang Dynasty
