This study focused on the analysis of the candidates' political viewpoints given in the fifth legislators election on December 1st, 2001. This research applied the descriptive statistic analysis, based on the Election Committee Review of each candidate's related information and politics. The results were as follows: 1.The most policies mentioned in each candidate's politics were type D, type C, and type CD. 2.Having PE and sport background, those candidates, who had proposed the policy of sports activities in their politics, had received higher election rate. 3.Proposing the policy of sports activities, candidates aged from 31 to 40 and with bachelor degrees had received the a higher rate. 4.The rate of propos ing the political viewpoints of physical education and sports from the candidates with PE and sport background were higher than those without the background. 5.The group of government officials and teachers ha d higher rate in presenting such politics; among different political parties, KMT(Kuo-Ming Tang) ranked the highest in presenting such politics. 6.The highest rate of proposing the politics of physical education and sports came to the eastern part of Taiwan and off-island.
