The Futurology of Humanistic Buddhism includes the following characteristics: 1.It is based on the religious doctrine of Buddhism without prevarication. 2.Its object is the realistic human world, and its content is the future of the realistic human world. 3.It surpasses realistic limitation and includes religious ideal. 4.As for methodology, it crosses over the demarcation line of religion, philosophy and sociology. The futurology of Humanistic Buddhism can be discussed in two parts. Firstly, there is discussion of the future development of Buddhism. Secondly, research focuses on the expectations and projects in the realistic human world of Humanistic Buddhism. This article takes Tai Xu’s Humanistic Buddhism as an example and explains the two parts above in the beginning stage of Humanistic Buddhism.
