The purpose of this study was to discuss the characteristics of technique and tactics systematically in Taekwondo by theories, methods, literature reviews, and the experiences of the author taking the part of coach. The evolution of Taekwondo technique was formed by basic skill of hand, footstep, and foot. Then, we classify it into single and continuous kick, active and passive counterattack by attack technique movement. And we exploit time difference, space difference, and anti-overcome technique movement to execute synchronous frontal attack. We also exploit hands, feet, and body to execute blocking defense movement of top end, middle top, and bottom and. We combine the continuous variety attack technique, passive and active defense anti-overcome technique to combined technique. In concert with every technique movement, the variant combined multi-dimensional offense and defense technique movement structure assemble basic technique and combined technique to comprehensive technique. The complete technique structure scheme is the performance of athletes to move up competitive ability systematically. Tactics were divided to common tactics and special tactics. The common tactics were divided to active attack tactics, passive anti-overcome tactics, and near-t6o-body offense and defense tactics. The special tactics were the fallback tactics according to special competitive opponent, environment of games, and casual burst of situation (hurt or unwell, etc.). We also use selective or combined tactics of blitz, false attacks, arrearage, guerrilla, hit and run, and psychology, etc. The results which were classified and described will help Taekwondo coaches’ training teaching, game directing, tactics simulation, advanced training, and nimble execution in games. And then the results will enhance athletes’ competitive ability, and create good result.
