This paper suggested the practical model of knowledge management on life insurance. We integrated the triangulation of methodologies and data to study and compare the practical operation on the life insurance cases. This study found the life insurance could improve self-competence by information• technology. But we also found they stayed the information system level and lacked the executive institution of knowledge management. We thought the application of knowledge management should be backward the human capital. They themselves needed to integrate the concept of information system and culture ecology. They considered further themselves characteristics to build the practical model, which combined the tacit and explicit knowledge, for creating the commercial value.
