本文的論述重點在於探討從中文譯入日語之際，針對來自漢語或英語等外來語的動名詞 (verbal noun)或名詞，形成述語動詞或述語形容名詞 (adjectival noun)，是如何結合日語的輕動詞「??」，把這些漢語與外來語詞彙（如表達當今科技概念的新詞）溶入日語中，並為與此相關的語法結構與功能提出條理化的分 析。本文透過對日語與漢語語法的對比分析，說明其語法結構與功能上的相關性，進而運用漢譯日與英譯日同步口譯語料，探討輕動詞在雙語訊息傳遞過程裡的語法意義及其功能。

　　　　　This paper focuses on verbal nouns or nouns in Chinese and English during translation from Chinese to Japanese. This paper shows how these nouns are transformed into adjectival verbs or adjectival nouns in Japanese, and how, together with the Japanese light verb suru, these Chinese or English nouns are incorporated into the Japanese language (such as in new phrases to express current technical concepts and notions). This paper likewise contains a genrealized analysis of the relevant syntactic structures and functions. Through comparison of syntactic structures, this paper explores the relevance of the Japanese and Chinese structures and functions. A corpus of simultaneous interpretation from Chinese to Japanese and English to Japanese is used to explore the syntactic meaning and function of light verbs in the translation process.
