　　　　　電子檔案保存的過程比紙本的保存複雜許多，方法可包括：轉存、轉置、模擬、封裝與技術保存等方法。而封裝方法似乎是解決電子檔案長期保存的最佳方法。本文先討論檔案與電子檔案，接著探討VERS計畫，並深入解剖封裝策略的內部架構，最後提出結論。
　　　　　The process of electronic records preservation is more complex than that of paper preservation. The methods of electronic records preservation include refreshing, migration, emulation, encapsulation, technology preservation, etc. However, encapsulation strategy seems to be the best method for solving the problems of long-term preservation for electronic records. The beginning of the article discusses the differences between traditional and electronic records. Secondly, the VERS project is probed and the internal structure of encapsulation strategy is dissected in detail. The final part is the conclusion.
