“BLOGGING” is a new activity in the World Wide Web. The number of blogs has increased tremendously in the past few years in other countries such as the United States. However, blogging is still at an early stage of development in Taiwan.“blogging” is one kind of website which is easy to establish and offers a discussion forum for its visitors. Each posting will be stamped with a date and time. The current postings will be automat-ically listed at the front, and the older postings will be stored in the archive according to the blog owner’s settings. Blogging software is compatible with certain software for the retrieval of article headings by subject, and for the conversion of the postings in the blog into RSS (Rich Site Summary) format so that they can be indexed by search engines.
