混合學習(blended learning)即指教師在課程中視學習者需要,選擇面對面教室上課、同步或非同步模式的網路教學等不同方式,使面對面和線上學習兩者的功效達到最大,結合兩者的優點,發現線上存萬知識和面對面人際互重之間和諧的平衡。本文首牨介紹專業英文課程混合線上和面對面學習活動模式的實施,其次進一步分析學生對對網路教室學習活動的看法和意見、良師益友學習活動的實施與成效,最後歸納學習的多樣化、知存取的便利性、強調溝通互動的重要性、良師益友的協助等四項對教學的啟示,提供學校教師和教育研究人員多面向的思考。
Blended learning combines face-to-face with distance delivery systems according to the unique needs of learners. Those who use blended learning environments are trying to maximize the benefits of both face-to-face and online methods. Thus the aim of those using blended learning approaches is to find a harmonious balance between online access to knowledge and face-to-face human interaction. This study contains a description of a blended professional English course, and focuses on the issues that arise when students participate in a cyber class. Finally, the author identified four goals that educators might espouse as they design blended environments: pedagogical richness, access to knowledge, social interaction and e-mentoring.
