Color have abstruse and abundant symbol strength, different color give people different emotion associating and cultural meaning. The study invests the theory of color association through sense and feeling, sentiments, association and meaning. We have the conclusion as followings. 1. The range: (1) it belongs to color psychology; (2) there are six types. 2. The methods: (1) One thinks about color from stimulation; (2) the other thinks about stimulation from color. 3. Materials: (1) one is free brainstorming; (2) it is limited by matching. 4. Subject: it needs considering subjective conditions 5. Principle: (1) one closes to resemble association and most of them are certain colors; (2) the other is the association of contrast: the psychological value impression. Color association belongs to effective feeling. They are subjective judgment. Our finding provides references for related color theory.
