根據目前的研究發現,震動訓練搭配阻力訓練比單獨採用阻力訓練,可以更有效增進肌力和爆發力,而且不管是單次震動訓練或是長期震動訓練都同時具有增進肌力和爆發力的效果,不過很明顯的,震動訓練的效果會受到震動訓練的參數所影響,包括震幅、頻率,此外所搭配的阻力訓練強度、訓練量,也都是影響的原因之一。肌肉被活化的程度取決於震動訓練的震幅和頻率,目前的研究指出,最適當的振動頻率為30-50Hz,至於震幅方面,目前並沒有一個最適當的參考值,不過可以知道的是,太低的震幅可能無法達到震動訓練的效果。震動訓練搭配高強度的阻力訓練,可以更有效的增進肌力和爆發力,而且優秀運動員接受單次震動訓練後的效果又比一般人好。未來,若能將震動訓練做為舉重運動的一種輔助訓練,可能有助於增進舉重運動員的運動成績。
