The study samples are the 1289 volleyball players of both genders in the 2004, 2005 and 2006 FIVB World League and Grand Prix. The aim is to identify the correlation of body height and jump one hand highest reach among volleyball players. Using Pearson Correlation Coefficient Analysis and Linear Regression Analysis as analyzing tools, the results are as follows: (1) Among the world top players, the body height for male volleyball players is on average 196.4 cm with jump one hand highest reach of 343.06 cm. The body height for female volleyball players is on average 182.47 cm with jump one hand highest reach of 303.04 cm. (2) In both gender groups, the linear regression between body height and jump one hand highest reach has shown a positive slope, indicating a distinctive positive correlation. (3) The linear regression formula for male players is jump one hand highest reach=127.856+1.096x body height. The linear regression formula for female players is: jump one hand highest reach=54.592+1.362x body height. (4) The value in Pearson Correlation Coefficient Analysis is 0.726 for women players, and is higher than the value, which is 0.568, for men. The difference has shown that the correlation between body height and jump one hand highest reach is higher in the women's group than in the men's.
