長期保存電子檔案是檔案管理局目前最積極研發的重要議題，經多年研究與測試，從電子檔案生命週期思考，提出一套符合我國國情需要的電子檔案長期保存架構。其做法為先針對電子檔案進行價值及技術鑑定，確認其保存的必要性；再視其檔案保存年限，進行系統保存、轉置、模擬等不同作為，以因應不同需求，提供不同成本的解決方案；最後搭配監督團隊、教育訓練、法規研修、國際交流等措施，以期在國家檔案數位服務計畫經費、人力支應下，2011年能完成架構建置作業。

Abstract Long-term preservation of electronic records is one of the most important issues on which the National Archives Administration has been spending lots of efforts. After conducting a series of projects and experiments, the NAA proposes an architecture for long-term preservation of electronic records, which is based on the concept of electronic records lifecycle and able to meet the specific requirement of Taiwan government. According to the architecture, the preservation decision of different electronic records would be made based on their value and technique firstly, and the retention periods of them would be examined too. Coordinating with retention periods of electronic records, different actions, such as system preservation, migration, and emulation, would be taken to provide various solutions with distinguishing costs to meet their preservation need. Accompanied with other measures, like the setup of asupervisory consultant team, giving the sequent trainings, the revision of regulations, and collaborating with international community, the NAA aims to complete the construction of the architecture by 2011 under the support of the National Archives Digital Services Project in budget and human recourses.
