題名:手術前麻醉諮詢門診對術前焦慮與術後滿意度之探討

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effect of pre-anesthesia consultation clinics on pre-operative anxiety and post-operative satisfaction, and to find factors that raised patient satisfaction. The results would then be used to establish effective anesthesia consultation models. Methods: A total of 156 operative patients were asked to fill out an anesthesia satisfaction questionnaire and a state-trait anxiety inventory. Results were then collected and statistically analyzed with SAS 8.1, using both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Results: The total patient satisfaction score was 24.46±3.62; its mean score ranged from 3.92±0.76 to 4.17±0.69, which was significantly higher than the median score (P<0.0001). Further analysis revealed 9 major factors during the perioperative period that had a significant impact on patient satisfaction. The total score of pre-operative anxiety was 42.58±10.52, indicating moderate anxiety. The total score of post-operative anxiety was 38.73±11.11, indicating mild anxiety. This improvement from moderate to mild anxiety level was also statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions: This study confirmed that pre-anesthesia consultation clinics can increase patient anesthesia satisfaction and reduced pre-operative anxiety. Methods that may further enhance these effects are: providing pamphlets with proper information on anesthesia procedures at the surgical clinics, providing pre-anesthesia consultation as soon as possible after a patient decides to have an operation, answering patients' questions fully and completely, letting patients know who you are before applying anesthesia, making patients feel that the doctor is trying his best to lessen their pain, and making a post-operative visit the day after surgery.
